Crackin’ the Code - The Who, What, When, Where and How of QR Codes
Webinar Summary
Presented By:
A QR Code is a square filled with small, randomly placed black boxes that resemble a maze gone mad. Often the code contains a URL that someone wants you to visit, but instead of typing the URL, you snap a photo of the QR Code (using a special app) and the URL or video then displays on your screen. Sometimes they work. Sometimes they don’t. Some are so slow to respond that you give up before you get where you thought you wanted to go. Why?
This presentation will show you the good, the bad and the ugly of QR Codes:
- When to snap them and when to avoid them
- What to expect from them
- How to create your own and make them pretty
- Practical every day and business uses for them
- Why some marketing via QR Code works and others don’t
- The anatomy and error rate/forgiveness of a QR Code
- How NOT to have a boring square QR Code
We will also make a QR Code in Flare and add it to a snippet and then make one in a free online application and alter its color and appearance. Join me for a fun and exciting venture into the world of QR Codes!
