La Jolla, CA and Colorado Springs, CO – May 04, 2018 – University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is partnering with MadCap Software to empower students with the professional and technical writing expertise needed to gain an edge when entering the workforce. Through the partnership, UCCS will enable students to gain hands-on experience in using MadCap Flare—the most advanced technical authoring and publishing solution on the market—and in applying the modern content creation techniques needed to succeed in their careers.
UCCS is incorporating MadCap Flare into the “ENGL 3850: Advanced Topics in Professional and Technical Writing” course. Students will use the software to intensively study and put into practice selected concepts in professional writing, such as single-source authoring, responsive design, and information architecture. By the end of the course, students will be able to add the projects they have created throughout the semester with MadCap Flare into their professional portfolios.
