MadCap Software 2013 Worldwide User Conference Will Unite Industry Experts From Around the Globe

The nearly sold-out event is MadCap’s first worldwide conference for technical communications specialists and documentation managers. It will provide unprecedented access for attendees to learn proven best practices, network with fellow technical writers and information architects, and connect with industry experts from around the globe. MadWorld 2013 will be held April 7-9, 2013 at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego, CA.

MadWorld 2013 will bring together leading technical communications and translation experts from around the world—including presentations from leading companies such as Caradigm (A Microsoft GE Healthcare company) and Blackbaud—to share their experiences and best practices. The conference will feature more than 40 presentations geared toward different levels of users, from novices to seasoned technical writing professionals. Attendees will be able to choose from a number of deep technical sessions, participate in hands-on labs, and learn about the latest industry trends and techniques.

MadWorld 2013 sessions will examine approaches to state-of-the-art content development, covering topics such as, Aligning Technical Communication with Business Goals, Techniques for High-Powered Single-sourcing with Flare, Make Your Content Findable Through Search, Embedded User Assistance, and Flare Integration using APIs. They also will explore how to optimize publishing in different formats, including “Mobilizing” Online Help — Challenges and Mechanics, Customizing HTML5 & WebHelp: Modern Output Matching Your Company Style, and Rockin' the Print Output. Additionally, attendees will gain insights into localizing content in sessions on Managing Translation Process with Flare and Lingo, Managing Multiple Projects and Outputs in a Translation Environment, and Internationalizing your Flare projects. Other presentations will examine a range of technical communications techniques and business best practices.
