MadCap Help Viewer

DotNetHelp is a format which is designed for use with Windows applications. Download the MadCap Help Viewer to distribute with your application that uses Flare's DotNet Help output. The MadCap Help Viewer may be used with DotNet Help generated by previous versions of MadCap Flare but the DotNet Help output is no longer available in MadCap Flare 13.x+.

Help Viewer SDK

Download the Help Viewer SDK which contains the APIs required to connect DotNet Help to your application. The SDK also includes sample applications to help you get started. DotNet Help output is no longer available in MadCap Flare 13.x+.

MadCap Movie Viewer

Download the stand-alone movie viewer which is necessary for distribution with movies compiled in the MadCap Movie format. This movie viewer is not necessary for generating or using Adobe Flash movies.

Mimic Extras

To generate Flash output, you must have the Java Runtime Environment 6 or later installed. Also, for Windows 7 and Vista users, the Lame ACM codec is necessary if you have Windows Audio files in your Mimic project.

Echo Extras

To generate Echo output, you must have the Java Runtime Environment 6 or later installed. Also, for Windows 7 and Vista users, the Lame ACM codec is necessary to generate your Echo project.

MadCap Feedback Explorer

Download and install MadCap Feedback Explorer, needed to take full advantage of MadCap's Feedback Service. In addition to performing all of the functions of Flare's internal Feedback Explorer, this stand-alone application helps track topic views, viewing active users, creating Reviewer and Administrator accounts, creating charts from feedback, and creating synonyms "on-the-fly."

Microsoft .NET Framework

The .NET Framework from Microsoft is required for MadCap Software to function. You can download it now or obtain the new .NET Framework from Windows Update.
